Shipping Policy

All orders are processed within 1 to 7 business days after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

Shipping Rates 

Shipping is calculated at checkout. Most products receive free shipping within Canada including all new inflatable SUPs. Hardboards and kayaks (excluding inflatable kayaks) have a flat rate of $149 across BC and Alberta. Shipping may not be available in all regions. Hardboard orders outside of BC and Alberta will have shipping calculated at checkout. Call 604-773-9807 for more information. 

Delivery 

Large products such as hardboards and kayaks qualify for free delivery in the Vancouver lower mainland. Please note, delivery is usually within a couple days but there may be delays during peak season (April - August). 

In-Store Pickup

You can always pick up your order at our store in Maple Ridge. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 5 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. 

Damage During Shipping

In the unlikely event of damage occurring during shipping, contact the shipping company to file a claim. Paddle Gear is not responsible for damage that has occurred during shipping. Shipped orders are not insured by Paddle Gear. Insurance on shipping can be arranged prior to shipment by Paddle Gear on the customers behalf. 

Cancellation of Shipped or Delivered Orders

Inflatable SUPs: If an order for an inflatable SUP is cancelled after an order has shipped, a flat shipping rate of $50 per board will be charged to the customer plus a restocking fee of $30 per board once the board is returned. The box must be sealed and unopened. The customer is responsible for returning the product to Paddle Gear and will not be compensated for return shipping. The customer has 14 days from the time they purchase the board to notify Paddle Gear of the cancelation and to ship or return the board. The cancelation fees will be reflected in the refund once the board is received. 

All other shipped or delivered products including hardboards, bikes, kayaks, and accessories are final sale.

Do NOT ship returns to the store. Please indicate your four digit order number on the return shipping label. Please remove or cover all old shipping labels. Please ship all returns to:

How do I check the status of my order?

All orders ship via courier, usually Purolator, UPS, or FedEx. All orders to PO boxes ship via Canada Post Expedited. Shipping times within BC are typically 1-3 business days. Central and eastern Canada can be up to 8 business days but average 2-4 business days. 

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 20 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at will@paddlegear.ca with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
